Where we come from

A hard choice made many times.

Amicatek was founded in 2021 by Fellipe Soares, during the pandemic. Many small businesses and independent professionals suddenly had to sell and serve customers online, and few had anyone in technology to consult before choosing a platform.

Wrong choices are expensive: a platform that locks you in, a site nobody can edit, a launch with no maintenance. We watched it happen many times. That is why we decided to do one thing, and do it whole.

Why WordPress

You own the site. We know the platform whole.

WordPress runs 43% of the web and holds 67% of the CMS market. The code is open, the data is yours and hosting is wherever you want it. No fee per sale, no rules that change overnight.

Ten years inside one platform gave us depth: architecture, content governance, performance, security, migration, maintenance. We could not do that while doing "a bit of everything".

What we don't do. Wix, Shopify, Webflow, native apps, sites on heavy page builders. When your project calls for one of those, we say so in the assessment and point you to someone who does it.
